We are pleased to announce the launch of PadBoX, a smart sanitary pad vending machine located on the Ground Floor of Chong Yuet Ming Amenities Centre, outside the Vending Hub.  PadBoX is introduced through a meaningful collaboration between the Campus Services Office (CSO) and WomenX, with the support of the student-led FemSTEM Society.  

This initiative is part of HKU’s ongoing commitment to promoting gender awareness, supporting the well-being of female members of our campus community, and fostering a caring and inclusive environment. Conveniently located at strategic location, PadBoX provides accessible sanitary products to help meet the necessary needs of female members of the community.  This initiative represents an important step in reinforcing HKU’s commitment to inclusivity, respect, and belonging — ensuring that individuals of all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and perspectives are respected, supported, and empowered to thrive together.  It reflects HKU’s continued efforts to create a supportive campus environment where dignity, comfort, and care are valued.
